I wanted to be honest with you... It has been a struggle for me to finish writing the last installment in this series; Pulse Genesis. This is not due to any mysterious circumstances, but more likely due to the fact that this novel proved to be the most difficult to write. As you know The Pulse Myths series is a very complex piece of work. It's not a simple story of romance, nor just adventure, or even a straight coming of age story. It's all those things and more. When it came to writing the last novel I had to tie all loose ends and I also had to round up the deeper spiritual lesson that I instilled within the pages-this is something that should be easy for you to grasp after reading Pulse Genesis.
I believe that the other issue contributing to this difficulty, is that this story has proved to be very emotionally exhausting. All three books are fueled by real emotions that I feel through the characters, but Pulse Genesis takes it to a whole another level for me, and I know that it will for you too.
Lastly, yes I really mean it when I say that this is it for the series. Saying goodbye to characters that have lived in my head and took on their own reality, was and still is very difficult for me. I have lived with Michelle, and Elliot ,and yes even Hadeno's voices in my head for over three years now. Every day, almost 24 hours a day, these fully developed characters have been writing their stories for me, and I just struggle to transfer it all on paper for you to read. I don't want you to despair, there will be more Pulse Historia novels on the way that will reveal more and more about our heroes and their lovely and lovable antics.
As I write this the front cover for Pulse Genesis is being worked on, and I hope you like what I have come up with. Keep reviewing my books when ever and wherever you can, as this is the one way where you, the reader, can help me.
Also keep your eyes out for pirate copies of my books on the net and let me know. There has been way too many copies stolen not only from myself but from a large community of authors. As an indie author I work over 15 hours a day with no pay-that's right, I do it because I love to do it. I can only hope to make a little money from book sales at the end of the process. But will they ever pay for the work hours ; I doubt it, but writers write, and we can only hope that you appreciate enough what we do to buy our end product. I will keep you updated very soon about pre-orders of signed copies of Pulse Genesis. In the meantime, it's back to work for me. TTYL and KEEP THE PULSE STRONG-
