I Finally watched the movie Young Adult, did I already tell you how much I love Charlize Theron? What an amazing beautiful actress!
I was a little intimidated about watching this movie considering that the main character is around the same age as myself and is also a YA author. BUT OMG-nope! not even close. I write with my name showing, and my novels are here for a higher reason; those of you who have read my work, I know you know what I'm talking about. The character in the movie had some serious psychological/emotional problems and although I know that like all "emotionals," I too have my own issues, I am not even closely as deluded as that character was and am definitely not an alcoholic. I might be sad at times but I have reason to be here, and people I love, and there are people who love me. I have faith and a sense of self. I have pride in what I'm doing and the last thing I want to do is be obsessed with the past. Still a good movie-not a comedy-in fact a tragedy. I highly recommend the movie.
